Meet Women & Make Friends in Abilene (Texas) for Free

I recently moved to Texas and don't know anyone or where different activities are around here. I'm just looking to meet some local people and hopefully make some new friends. I'm outgoing with those I know but a little uncomfortable just talking to random strangers I meet. My kids are grown now, so I'm in the "rediscovering myself" phase in life I guess you could call it. I enjoy movies, books, games, cruises, painting, and spending time with family and friends, and especially my toddler grandson. I would describe myself as a straightforward honest person, trustworthy, reliable, supportive, kinda quirky, and fun, I beat to my own drum rather than follow the crowd. I'm accepting of others and don't judge my friends for having different opinions than mine. I'm just an average simple denim and Ts gal not out to impress anyone.What you see is what you get with me. I'm hoping to meet some laid back locals with similar personalities and interests, probably in their 40s-60s. However, I really don't care about your age, gender, sexuality, race or religion. But, please don't bother responding if you care about those things and aren't accepting of all people. So, if you're also looking to meet someone new, as friends, maybe I'm that person?
