I am Kallol. Illustrator, Animator, Cartoonist. I'm 44 years of age. I was born and brought up in West Bengal, India and spent a good chunk of my professional life in Delhi till 2008 when I met with an untoward train accident that led to amputation of both my lower limbs. Then I decided to relocate in Calcutta. I got married to a Punjabi girl. My marital status you can say is complicated. I’m not divorced yet. At the same time the relationship is in fact a liability for me. My son lives with me. He is in IXth standard. I am very much passionate about my son.
My family life has actually crumbled. So I have decided to go for a live-in relationship for the rest of my life. I need someone who is bold enough to accept such relationship against the social taboo.
I am a freelancer and work for Oxford University Press, Pearson, Encyclopaedia Britannica, Macmillan India, Scholastic Singapore among others. I work for overseas publishers also.
I try to be a little bit of philanthropist. I love to work for the orphans and destitute. I am too much honest and respect other's view. Perhaps that's why I had to go through a lot of troubles all through my life. I'm not seeking your sympathy. I'm in fact an upright person. I think myself a comeback kid who bounced back in life.
